Back to a familiar spot, former MC quarterback Nate Sudfeld re-signs with Eagles
Nate Sudfeld is returning to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The former Modesto Christian High quarterback agreed to a one-year deal with the team, the Eagles announced on Tuesday.
Sudfeld, who suffered a broken wrist during the preseason and didn’t appear in a game last year, was set to become an unrestricted free agent on Wednesday.
“We’re very comfortable with Nate,” Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said at the NFL Combine last month. “We’ll see what happens this spring when we get down the road with him, but he’s put himself in position to compete and possibly be the No. 2.”
The Indiana grad has 156 career passing yards and one touchdown and holds the Modesto Christian single-season records for passing yards and passing touchdowns.
CC grad Mundt agrees to new deal with Los Angeles Rams: The Los Angeles Rams tended tight end Johnny Mundt as an exclusive rights free agent (EFRA) on Tuesday, the team announced.
It’s a one-year contract for the Central Catholic grad, who was a run-blocker for the Rams last year and also played on special teams.
