A Stanislaus County resident recently struck it lucky at a nearby casino.

“We see winners every single day at Black Oak Casino Resort, and it’s especially exciting when those wins come from our neighbors in Stanislaus County,” casino officials previously told The Modesto Bee.

How much did Stanislaus County gambler win?

The player from Crows Landing — which is located roughly 19 miles west of Modesto — turned a 40-cent bet into a “blast of cash,” according to Black Oak Casino Resort officials.

The gambler won a jackpot of $54,646 while playing the Buffalo Blast of Cash slot machine, casino officials said.

“These stories are real people, real moments, and that’s what makes them special,” Black Oak Casino Resort officials said. “Our goal has always been to create a casino people trust.”

Black Oak Casino to host ‘celebration of cash’

Black Oak Casino Resort is gearing up for a night of giveaways.

The Tuolumne County casino will host a $50,000 Celebration of Cash promotion on Wednesday, Feb. 25, offering players multiple chances to win prizes, according to a Facebook post.

From 6 to 10 p.m., guests who are “actively playing with their Players Club card can be randomly selected to receive $250 in free play,” casino officials said.

At 10 p.m., one gambler’s name will be drawn from the casino’s electronic drum, with the winner taking home a $2,500 cash prize.

“Be here. Be playing. Be ready to celebrate,” casino officials said.

What is Black Oak Casino Resort?

Black Oak Casino Resort, 19400 Tuolumne Road in Tuolumne, describes itself as a place for “big wins, plush accommodations, exceptional dining and exciting entertainment.”

The property includes a hotel, a concert venue, several dining options, more than 1,000 slot machines and 25 table games.

“Guests return because they’ve had success here before, and they feel that Black Oak gives them a fair, enjoyable chance to win,” casino officials wrote.

Black Oak Casino Resort is approximately 60 miles away from Modesto — or roughly a 90-minute drive, according to Google Maps.
