22-year-old Modesto man killed in ATV accident on American Avenue is identified
A 22-year-old Modesto man was killed in an ATV accident Wednesday evening on American Avenue just north of the city.
The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office identified the crash victim as Jonathan Arreola.
Emergency units were called to the 6000 block of American at 8:40 p.m. The preliminary information was that the male rider fell off the ATV and was unresponsive.
According to Modesto Fire Department, the responding units found the man had suffered critical injuries. Paramedics initiated care for the patient. Arreola was pronounced dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
