Tuolumne County casino is reopening. Here’s when and what to expect
The original Chicken Ranch Casino, or “the OG” as it’s called, closed in January to undergo a full remodel with a planned reopening for spring. Now, the date has been set.
Sunday, March 1, people 18 and older who visit will see an updated gaming floor layout, additional gaming machines and “improved guest flow” throughout the building, according to a news release. Sixteen electronic table games will be added in the month following the reopening.
Two dining options are reopening with the casino: The Roost Coffee Shop and Ranch House Restaurant. The restaurant will have a “refreshed, streamlined menu” with items such as hamburgers, fries and easy-to-enjoy foods, the release says.
The OG is still a smoking property without alcohol service.
