Modesto’s newest Burlington store announces grand opening date, celebrating with giveaways
Burlington is opening a second store in Modesto and is celebrating with giveaways.
While the store’s website originally noted a March 28 opening date, a Monday morning news release from the company said it will now open April 4.
Burlington has moved into 3900 Sisk Road, where Bad Bath & Beyond operated until June 2023.
At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, there will be a presentation of a $5,000 donation to a local, high-needs school through AdoptAClassroom.org, according to a news release.
Following the ceremony, on April 4-5, the first 100 customers age 18 and older will receive a $10 bonus card that can be used toward a purchase.
Store hours will be Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to midnight; Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The company was established over 50 years ago as Burlington Coat Factory, selling off-price coats out of a factory building in Burlington, New Jersey, according to the website.
Now called Burlington, the stores sell low-priced and brand-name women’s, men’s, kids and baby apparel and accessories, home decor items and more.
Modesto’s first location is next to Safeway at 2001 McHenry Ave., Suite 202.
