Modesto native and Broadway actress Lindsay Pearce has a new stage role.

Pearce is playing Rose in the musical “Titanique,” according to a story on Playbill.com.

The parody musical is playing at the off-Broadway Daryl Roth Theatre.

“Parodying the Oscar-winning blockbuster film Titanic, Céline Dion commandeers a tour at the Titanic Museum and delivers her version of what really went down between Jack and Rose,” the story said.

The hit musical has been extended a fourth time, according to the story, set to play through Jan. 7.

Pearce’s recent roles include starring in a touring production of “Mean Girls” and on Broadway as Elphaba in “Wicked.”
