Krista Smith: You can still hear the Pledge each morning in Oakdale
Re “Trump isn’t scary; he’s doing well” (Page 9A, Jan. 31): Regarding the comment in the letter, “Maybe now we can have the Pledge of Allegiance back in schools.” Having worked in Oakdale elementary classrooms for many years, I am happy to inform the writer that the Pledge of Allegiance is part of the elementary school morning routine in Oakdale.
Have other schools in our area stopped saying the Pledge of Allegiance?
