Ed Washington: Don’t cry over ‘lost’ stations, put up an antenna and save
After reading the article “Channels 3, 58 disappear from DirecTV lineup over contract dispute” (Jan. 1, modbee.com) and the comments on Facebook, it left me to wondering why so many folks are crying. I dumped the pay-TV services and put up an antenna a couple of years ago. My antenna cost me $300 installed. With it, and the internet, I still see everything I want to see and I am amazed at the amount of money I have saved.
