Police seek help identifying suspects after car break-ins at Manteca water park
Following 48 vehicle break-ins at the Great Wolf Lodge in Manteca on Thanksgiving morning, police are asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects captured on surveillance video.
A Manteca Police Department community service officer reviewed footage from that morning and determined the suspects arrived in a stolen vehicle.
She said the trio parked the vehicle on the freeway off-ramp south of the lodge, then entered the parking lot by slipping through the fence that borders the property and the Highway 120 bypass.
While they broke into the cars, a California Highway Patrol officer located and recovered the stolen vehicle, police said. After the suspects returned and realized it was gone, they fled westbound on foot into a nearby shopping center, where additional surveillance cameras recorded them without face coverings.
Police said the vehicle, which was reported stolen out of Roseville on Nov. 20, had traveled to San Francisco and other parts of the Bay Area before ending up at the Manteca water park that morning.
Manteca police are asking anyone who can identify the three individuals to call (209) 456-8101. The reference case number is 25-05328.
Investigators are withholding further details as the case remains active.
