Modesto Police are looking for at least seven juveniles who were captured on surveillance cameras emptying fire extinguishers at Modesto Centre Plaza.

The department released photos of three of the kids, all boys, in hopes of identifying them and alerting their parents.

“Looks like this group of juveniles were up to no good and we need to speak with their parents,” reads a post of the department’s Facebook page.

Photos of others in the group were were not released due to poor quality, said police spokeswoman Sharon Bear.

She said the incident happened around 3 p.m. on Saturday. Investigators learned five fire extinguishers were missing from the parking garage across the street from the plaza.

Anyone with information that will help identify the juveniles is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 209-521-4636.
