Searching for affordable ways to keep your kids entertained this summer? A trip to the movie theater could cost just $1. Some Stanislaus County students are out of school, while others have a few days to go.
Regal Cinemas is bringing back its popular summer movie deals, offering discounted tickets for family-friendly films and snack specials at participating Modesto-area locations.
“Summer is here, school is out, and this is your chance to spend some extra time with your kids,” Regal Cinemas said. “During summer break, enjoy a series of great family movies returning to the big screen.”
Discounted tickets will be available for a variety of family-friendly films, including “KPop Demon Hunters” and “A Minecraft Movie.”

The Regal Summer Movie Express series will begin on Monday, June 1, and run until Thursday, Aug. 13.
Discounted tickets will be available at 11 a.m. on Monday through Thursday.
