Stanislaus County has a variety of positions available in August across multiple departments, including health services and workforce development.

The county provides competitive and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans, for regular full-time employees.

As part of its Employee Choice Bonus Plan, the county is offering a sign-on bonus worth up to $10,000 over three years or 21 extra days of leave time for eligible employees hired full-time on or before June 30, 2025.

As of Monday, these were some of the available positions listed on the county’s website and their requirements:

Accountant III | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Various
  • Salary: $79,955 to $97,198 annually

Several county departments are looking for individuals to fill the position of accountant III.

This position is responsible for performing accounting and auditing tasks, managing systems and preparing reports for the department and program managers.

Assistant Director of Fiscal & Administrative Services | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Behavioral Health and Recovery Services
  • Salary: $109,449 to $164,195 annually

The assistant director leads administrative and financial services, including budgeting, financial reporting, management reporting and billing.

Emergency Dispatcher I | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Stanislaus Regional 9-1-1
  • Salary: $57,345 to $69,721 annually

The emergency dispatcher I handles dispatching duties, including receiving emergency calls and computer-aided dispatching services.

Elections Clerk | Limited, part-time

  • Department: Clerk/Recorder’s Office
  • Salary: $18.52 per hour

The elections clerk will work at the main office or at voting centers for the upcoming county-wide 2024 Presidential General Election on Nov. 5.

Family Services Specialist III | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Workforce Development
  • Salary: $56,596 to $68,806 annually

The family services specialist III will provide customer service, communicate effectively with various departments and work well with other team members.

Payroll Specialist | Permanent, full-time

  • Department: Auditor-Controller’s Office
  • Salary: $48,380 to $72,550 annually

The payroll specialist is responsible for making decisions within the department’s guidelines related to clerical tasks, promoting professionalism and ensuring the team’s smooth workflow.

Probation corrections officer | Permanent, full-time and limited, part-time

  • Department: Probation
  • Salary: $53,268 to $74,172 per year

The probation corrections officer is responsible for the care and custody of youth in Juvenile Hall, the Juvenile Commitment Facility, or in alternative-to-custody programs.
