Turlock man killed when pickup crashes into tree in Modesto. No other cars were involved
A Turlock man was killed in Modesto in a solo-vehicle crash near the intersection of Sisk Road and Standiford Avenue in Modesto on Monday morning, according to the Modesto Police Department.
The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Francisco Perez, 42.
First responders received a call of someone trapped in a vehicle at about 2:40 a.m. The Modesto Fire Department and EMS responded and pronounced Perez dead at the scene.
Perez crashed a small GMC pickup truck into a tree on the north side of Standiford, between Dale Road and Sisk, MPD said. It’s unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
