Modesto is leaving triple-digit heat behind. Here’s how much it will cool off this week

Here comes the sun, Modesto. But this time, it’s leaving the triple-digit temperatures behind as the area will experience “seasonal conditions” this week.

Sunny skies are predicted for the region with low to mid 90-degree weather through Tuesday, which is what is to be expected for this time of year, said Sara Purdue, a National Weather Service meteorologist.

As Modesto starts to cool down, here’s what you can expect for the next seven days, according to the weather service:

Modesto seven-day forecast

Wednesday is predicted to be the hottest day, with temperatures nearing 96 degrees. The area may also see six to 10 mph winds. The low will be around 62 degrees with wind gusts as high as 18 mph.

Thursday will have a high near 94 with six to nine mph winds. The low will be around 63 with seven to 10 mph winds.

Friday’s high will be near 94 with six to 10 mph winds. The low will be around 64.

Saturday will see a high near 93 and a low around 63.

Sunday will be around 93 with a low around 62.

Monday is predicted to have a high near 94 and a low around 62.

Tuesday will have a high near 93 degrees.
