Motorcyclist who died in Sisk Road collision identified as Modesto man

A motorcyclist who died Friday afternoon in a crash with a minivan on Sisk Road has been identified as a Modesto man.

Jesus Miranda-Olivas, 22, was northbound on Sisk when his motorcycle crashed into a minivan that was making a left turn from Conant Avenue, according to Modesto police. Traffic on Conant has a stop sign; traffic at Sisk doesn’t.

Miranda-Olivas was taken to a Modesto hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash according to police.
