Modesto woman who died in high-speed collision with a tractor ID’d

The Modesto woman who died in a vehicle-vs.-tractor collision on Sunday has been identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office.

Riley Ann Moebs, 25, was driving a 2018 Honda when she hit a tractor head-on on Stone Avenue south of Highway 132, The Bee reported.

Moebs was driving north at high speed and straddling both lanes when she collided with a southbound 2013 John Deere tractor, according to a CHP press release. The driver of the tractor was not hurt.

According to the report, Moebs was not wearing a seat belt when the front left of her car struck the tractor. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
