The car-vs.-tractor collision occurred about 7:45 p.m. on Stone Avenue south of Highway 132.

The preliminary investigation found the driver of a 2018 Honda was northbound on Stone at high speed while straddling the northbound and southbound lanes. At the same time, a 2013 John Deere tractor pulling a farming implement was going south on Stone.

The front left of the Honda struck the front of the tractor. The woman, who was not wearing her safety restraint, was pronounced dead at scene.
