A driver was killed and his two passengers were injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Modesto.

The crash occurred about 10:30 p.m. on North Ninth Street near Coldwell Avenue. Lt. Brian Kleiber said the driver lost control at a high rate of speed and flipped the vehicle.
