Coronavirus update, Oct. 29: Stanislaus reaches 1,350 deaths, 77,954 positive tests
Stanislaus County added three deaths to COVID-19 on Thursday, for a total of 1,350 since April 2020, the Health Services Agency said..
Positive tests stand at 77,954 with the 163 reported Thursday. Stanislaus also has 944,284 negative test results and 75,000 people who are presumed recovered.
Other details:
Hospital cases: The county’s five hospitals had 122 patients with confirmed COVID-19 on Thursday, down from 130 on Wednesday. Adults in intensive care fell by two to 29.
Positivity rates: On the state dashboard Thursday, where numbers reflect the previous day, the seven-day positivity rate was 7.0%, up from 6.6% a day ago, but a decrease of 0.2% from the prior seven days. The rolling seven-day rate a month ago was 7.7%.
Vaccines: As of Thursday, 86.5% of eligible county residents (those 12 and older) had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 60.6% were fully vaccinated, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
