Gambler hits ‘remarkable’ jackpot on $10 slot machine at Sacramento-area casino

A lucky Cache Creek Casino Resort gambler near Sacramento hit a huge slot machine jackpot on a $100 bet, officials said.

The Concord woman was playing a $10 “Dragon Link” machine at the casino and hit the “remarkable” $248,115 jackpot May 10, the casino said.

“At Cache Creek Casino Resort, we love creating unforgettable experiences, and this incredible jackpot was truly one for the books,” said Kari Stout-Smith, general manager and COO of Cache Creek Casino Resort. “We are thrilled to congratulate our lucky Concord guest on this extraordinary $248,115 win and are honored to celebrate such a life-changing moment together.”

Cache Creek Casino Resort, owned by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, is located northwest of Esparto. The casino, opened in 2004, features more than 2,700 slot machines and 120 table games.
