Player hits ‘exciting’ jackpot on 50-cent slot machine at Sacramento-area casino

A gambler at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Sacramento hit a $113,990 progressive jackpot on a 50-cent slot machine, casino officials reported.

The Roseville player bet $12.50 to hit the “Dragon Link-Golden Century” progressive jackpot Monday morning, the casino said.

“We are thrilled to congratulate a South Placer winner on their exciting jackpot,” said Mark Birtha, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain. “An exciting way for them to start the week!”

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Fire Mountain is at 3317 Forty Mile Road in Wheatland, about 35 miles north of downtown Sacramento.
