Candy-themed indoor playground sets grand-opening date in Modesto
A sweet indoor children’s playground has set a date for its opening in Modesto’s Vintage Faire Mall.
Candeeland, with candy-themed play structures, climbing walls and a “ninja course,” is on the mall’s upper level near Dave & Buster’s. Opening day is Friday, Feb. 20.
A news release says the arrival of Candeeland reflects Vintage Faire’s commitment to bringing experiential concepts to the community — destinations that go beyond shopping and create memorable moments for families.
The play park also has a toddler area, a café, party rooms and a candy store. Its website, modesto.candeeland.com, isn’t yet fully operable, so exact pricing isn’t available, but websites of other locations indicate hourlong play passes for children ages 1 to 14 are $15, plus $2.75 for the company’s patented grip socks.
One adult may enter the playground for free with purchase of a children’s ticket, and it is $3 extra for each additional adult. Youth tickets, ages 15 through 17, are $3 to $5 each for one hour — depending on location.
