A super-sweet indoor playground is coming to Modesto’s Vintage Faire mall
An indoor children’s playground is coming to sweeten Modesto’s Vintage Faire Mall.
With candy-themed play structures, climbing walls and a “ninja course,” Candeeland is designed to “provide bright, colorful, magical places where parents can create lasting memories with their kids in a safe environment,” according to its website.
The play park also has a toddler area, a cafe, party rooms and, of course, a candy store. Some locations have an arcade and some have a laser maze.
Vintage Faire will be home to Candeeland’s first Northern California location. There are 13 locations open and coming soon, with most of them in Southern California, one in Arizona, one in Colorado and two in Texas.
While prices may vary by location, visits to a few of the Southern California Candeeland websites show that hourlong play passes for children ages 1 to 14 are $15, plus $2.75 for the company’s patented grip socks. These grip socks may be reused for future visits if they remain in good condition, according to Candeeland.
Passes for two hours of play are $20, and some locations offer monthly memberships for $55.
One adult may enter the playground for free with purchase of a children’s ticket, and it is $3 extra for each additional adult. Youth tickets, ages 15 through 17, are $3 to $5 each for one hour — depending on location.
“This allows families and groups to enjoy our park together at affordable rates,” says the website’s FAQ regarding rates for parents and teenagers.
Information on where in Vintage Faire mall Candeeland will be, or when it will open, was not immediately available.
