These are the top 5 hangout spots in Stanislaus County. Which is the best?
I feel as though almost everyone who submitted a nomination for Stanislaus County’s best hangout spot was in my head.
Of course, I have my own regular hangout spots in Modesto, and almost all of them were named, even if they didn’t make the top five.
Of the 70 total nominations, the hangout spots that received the most entries are: Family Pizza & Cocktail Lounge with 37 nominations, The Twisted Pig Bar and Grill with 11, Contentment Brewing Company (4), Chinn’s International (2) and P Wexford’s Pub (2).
I do have to note that there were a few spots with two nominations each, and I had to make an executive decision on which would be in the top five. While Modesto on Ice is a wonderful option, I chose Chinn’s and P Wexford’s over it simply because the rink is not a permanent place for people to visit.
