Readers say these 5 Stanislaus County taco trucks are the best. Crown a winner
Well, Stanislaus County, the nomination period for best taco truck went exactly how I predicted it would.
There were a lot of nominations for a lot of trucks, which makes sense considering there’s around 510 mobile food facilities in the county.
Forty-four different taco trucks were nominated between Tuesday and Thursday in a total of 171 nominations. The trucks that received the most entries are: Tacos Al Cabron with 42 nominations, Ricky’s Tacos with 28, Los Burritos RG’s (18), Flaco’s Tacos (18) and Jessica’s Taqueria (8).
Even though they didn’t make the top five, I now have an arsenal of taco truck recommendations for the next time I’m craving tacos. Some others people felt strongly about are Primos Grill, Tacos Mi Jalisco, Fonzi’s Tacos and Tacos Vallarta.
It’s now time to vote for your favorite of the top five in the poll below. Voting ends Sunday, Dec. 7, at 5 p.m. The winner will be featured Monday.
