Chicken Ranch Casino announces 4 restaurants that will open in new Tuolumne County resort

With the opening of the Chicken Ranch Casino Resort will come new restaurants, bars and a coffee shop.

Perch Rooftop Dining, (209) Sports Bar + Kitchen, Quill Bar and Trailblazer Coffee Co. will open July 15 inside the expansion of the existing casino in Tuolumne County.

“The Culinary Collection provides a blend of local flavors and culinary innovation that will redefine the standard of excellence in hospitality,” said Lloyd Mathiesen, chairman of the Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians.

Additional culinary offerings in the collection will be announced at a later date, according to a news release.

Perch Rooftop Dining is an American fusion restaurant with an elevated dining experience. Perch will have a full bar and an outdoor patio. Menu items include steak cooked in a Montague Steakhouse Broiler, oyster shooters, Dungeness crab, Iberico ham and artisan bread baskets with specialty butter. Top-shelf whiskey flights are available, featuring whiskeys like Chicken Cock Kentucky Bourbon, Basil Hayden Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

The restaurant will be open Thursdays and Sundays from 5 to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 4 to 10 p.m. The bar will open an hour earlier than the restaurant at 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and 3 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

(209) Sports Bar + Kitchen will have high-definition TVs with exclusive sporting events, tabletop gaming and two private dining rooms. The restaurant specializes in hand-tossed brick oven pizzas, nachos, wings and salads. The beers served will be from local breweries including Around the Horn Brewing Co., Brethren Brewing Co., Dust Bowl Brewing, Dying Breed Brewing, Indigeny Reserve and Last Call Brewing.

The restaurant and bar will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

Quill Bar will feature cocktails and spirits, including its signature Magic Mixture Cocktail. It will be open from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.

Trailblazer Coffee Co. will serve freshly roasted coffee and espresso drinks, as well as lunch and dinner. There will be an afternoon spiked menu from 2 to 6 p.m. with drinks including an espresso old-fashioned and Irish coffee.

The coffee shop and cafe will be open Sundays through Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.
