Ready to play? Chicken Ranch Casino Resort is officially opening — and it’s still hiring

Eager gamers and vacationers don’t have to wait much longer for the Chicken Ranch Casino Resort to open its doors to guests.

An expansion of the existing casino, the Tuolumne County resort will have a soft opening Monday, July 15.

The resort will boast 197 hotel rooms, a 12,000-square-foot conference and event space, an expanded gaming floor with more than 100,000 square feet of all-new slots and table games, nightlife options and restaurants and bars. There also will be an all-ages Cyber Quest arcade.

The existing 24-hour casino has over 600 gaming machines, table games and other amenities.

Chicken Ranch Casino Resort still hiring for open positions

Chicken Ranch expects to hire 350 to 400 employees to staff the resort, in addition to the nearly 285 current workers.

The next job fair will be held Tuesday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the casino’s event hall.

Applications are also accepted online.

There are more than 70 classifications of positions paying $11 per hour to $100,000 per year. They include:

  • Beverage server
  • Security officer
  • Slot attendant
  • Table games dealer
  • Main banker
  • Shuttle driver
  • Line cook
  • Guest room attendant
  • Bartender
  • Cage cashier
  • Assistant general manager
  • Slot operations shift supervisor
  • Hotel shift supervisor
