Smart & Final Extra! coming to Turlock; grand opening this week for grocery chain
Smart & Final Extra! is opening its first Turlock location on Wednesday.
The new grocery chain site will be an anchor in the Turlock Town Center at the corner of Golden State Boulevard and Canal Drive. The store celebrates its grand opening at 7 a.m. Wednesday. Its regular hours will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
Smart & Final Extra! features a larger selection of products, more like a traditional supermarket with a wide variety of individual and bulk-sized products. A new Smart & Final Extra! opened in downtown Modesto in 2017.
The company’s new Turlock location is in the same shopping center as the 99 Cent Only store, Big 5 Sporting Goods and Rite Aid. The store moved into a space formerly occupied other businesses including Goodwill and Rainbow Fabrics.
