Yeah, it’s August. And it’s hot in the Valley. No shock there. But what might surprise you is that coffee lovers might be able to infuse their summer with fall this month.

According to recent stories on TODAY.com, the autumn menu at Starbucks is rumored to drop Aug. 24, while Dunkin’ plans to bring pumpkin back Aug. 16.

“On July 27, popular snack-spotting Instagram @markie_devo shared a post purporting to include Starbucks’ leaked fall menu — which includes multiple new items,” an Aug. 7 Today story said.

Meanwhile, Dunkin’ posted an Instagram video earlier this month of a man dropping a piece of paper that says, “Pumpkin is back 8/16,” according to an Aug. 8 Today story.

Starbucks’ beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte is among the rumored menu items to return, that story said. It also mentioned the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, along with an allegedly new version, the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso.

There’s purportedly a new tea, the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte, the Today story said.

As for Dunkin’, Today asked what its fall menu will look like this year, but, according to that story, a spokesperson provided this statement: “While we can’t spill the beans just yet on all things fall, Dunkin’ is getting ready to *spice* things up this season starting August 16.”
