A weekly glance at the many programs for children and adults offered by the Stanislaus County Library system’s 13 branches. Some programs are ongoing, others are special events and all are free and open to the public:

MEME CONTEST ▪  Through March 5

In celebration of Teen Tech Week March 6-12, the Stanislaus County Library will host the “Create It at Your Library: Meme Contest.” Teens, submit an original library- or book-themed meme for a chance to win a 32 GB iPod Touch or other prizes. VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE ▪  Through April 4

Receive free tax preparation assistance from Volunteer Income Tax Assistance volunteers, trained by the IRS. Check each branch library for more information.

LEGO PLAY ▪  Feb. 29
