Country star Scotty McCreery will return to Modesto, the third performer announced for the Fruit Yard Amphitheater’s 2026 season.
McCreery will play the venue on May 8, with Jackson Dean also on the bill, according to a Fruit Yard Facebook post, and another guest to be announced.
“Get ready for a night full of singalong songs, good vibes and unforgettable memories,” the post says.
Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, on Ticketmaster.
McCreery, now 32, won “American Idol” in 2011, launching him into country stardom at age 17.
“Clear As Day,” his debut album, reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts. His latest single, “Bottle Rockets,” features pop band Hootie and the Blowfish.
Among his other hits are “Damn Strait,” “This Is It,” “You Time,” “In Between” and “Five More Minutes.”
Dean’s debut single, “Don’t Come Lookin’,” went platinum in 2022, according to the singer’s website.
McCreery joins Warren Zeiders (April 22) and Mitchell Tenpenny (May 23) on the venue’s upcoming lineup.
It’s not McCreery’s first visit to the Modesto region. He played the Stanislaus County Fair in 2024, the Gallo Center for the Arts in 2017 and Turlock Community Theatre in 2014.
Officially called The Fruit Yard Chicken Ranch Casino Resort Amphitheater, it’s at 7948 Yosemite Blvd. There is lawn and reserved seating to accommodate about 3,500 people.
