Big-name acts including Beatles legend set for Modesto-region concerts. Who, when

Beatles drummer Ringo Starr is among several artists headed for Ironstone Amphitheatre in Murphys.

ZZ Top also leads a trio of classic rock bands for a concert added to this season’s lineup. Another new show will feature Damian and Stephen Marley.

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band will play 7 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Mother Lode venue. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, May 2.

Starr created his All Starr Band in 1989 and it has an evolving lineup of musicians who also perform their hits during concerts. Starr’s setlist includes “Photograph” and “It Don’t Come Easy,” along with Beatles favorites, according to the Ironstone website.

Joining ZZ Top at 7 p.m. on Aug. 29 will be Night Ranger and Molly Hatchet. Tickets are $73 to $321.

ZZ Top’s hits include “Sharp Dressed Man,” “La Grange,” “Gimme All Your Lovin’,” “Legs” and others. Night Ranger is known for songs such as “Sister Christian” and “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me,” while Molly Hatchet scored with “Flirtin’ with Disaster” and “Whiskey Man.”

Damian & Stephen Marley’s Traffic Jam 2025 tour arrives at 7 p.m. Aug. 15. Tickets for this show also go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 2.

Damian and Stephen Marley are two sons of the legendary Bob Marley. They play their own reggae music with some of their father’s hits. Joining the brothers will be guest J Boog.

The new shows have been added to others already scheduled for this season: Lee Brice and Walker Hayes on June. 21; Brit Floyd and Alan Parsons on July 18; Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge on Aug. 3; Parker McCollum on Aug. 16 and Train on Sept. 12.
