Tony Award winner “Dear Evan Hansen” is coming to the Gallo Center for two nights of performances. There are tribute shows to Journey and ABBA set for the region, while the annual Ripon Almond Blossom Festival also returns. “Dear Evan Hansen”
Broadway musical “Dear Evan Hansen” will pull into the Gallo Center for two shows. Evan Hansen is a high school student “who always feels like he’s on the outside looking in. After writing a letter to himself that was never meant to be seen, Evan becomes entangled in a lie,” according to the center’s website. The Tony Award-winning production features songs including “You Will Be Found,“ “Waving Through A Window“ and “For Forever.“

Storm Large
Storm Large brings her Inside Voice tour to the Gallo Center. Accompanied by music director and collaborator James Beaton on piano, Large will “share songs by women who dared to speak their mind, whether in ballad or blistering rock and roll,” the center’s website says. Artists represented include Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Lorde, Billie Holiday, PJ Harvey and Edith Piaf.

Journey tribute
