KC and the Sunshine Band celebrate their 50th anniversary at the Gallo Center. Harry Wayne Casey — KC for short — created a fusion of R&B and funk to produce hits such as “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s The Way (I Like It)” and “Shake Your Booty.” Limited tickets were available.

Camp Jack Hazard concert
“The Camp Jack Hazard 100 Year Celebration” will play at the State Theatre. Camp Jack Hazard, which serves the community and its youth, marks the milestone with a concert by The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit.
