Search by Ceres police nets meth, heroin, guns and three arrests
Three Ceres residents face drug and weapon charges after being arrested by officers serving a narcotics search warrant Thursday.
The search warrant was the result of months-long investigation by the Ceres Police Department patrol division, supported by its investigative unit. It was served at a residence on the 3800 block of Blaker Road.
Officers found about 1.3 pounds of methamphetamine and 10.5 grams of heroin. They also seized a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun and a .38-caliber semiautomatic handgun. The .38-caliber had been reported stolen to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.
Those arrested are David Mendes, 38, Sabra McCurdy, 30, and Stoney Fisher, 37.
