One dead, two injured in stabbings at northeast Modesto bar
One person died and two others were injured after stabbings at a northeast Modesto bar, authorities said.
About 12:15 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the Shadow Lounge at Oakdale Road and Sylvan Avenue on reports of multiple stabbings, according to Officer Billy Boyle of the Modesto Police Department.
When they arrived, an unknown number of people had fled the scene. Remaining, however, were two victims, one in critical condition.
Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where a 35-year-old male victim later died. The other victim suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. A third victim showed up at a hospital via private transportation.
Both surviving victims were interviewed by homicide detectives; there was no information on any suspects.
The Shadow Lounge recently opened on the southeast corner of Oakdale and Sylvan.
