Colin Kaepernick makes $100,000 donation to coronavirus relief fund

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is helping to fight the coronavirus outbreak.

The Pitman High graduate announced on social media on Thursday that he would be donating $100,000 to the Know Your Rights Camp COVID-19 Relief Fund, which will help ‘black and brown” people during the epidemic.

“I’m donating $100,000 to the Know Your Rights Camp COVID-19 Relief Fund,” Kaepernick wrote in a tweet. “Join us in our mission to help address the disproportionate affect the pandemic is having on our communities. Use the hashtag #WeGotUs & tag @yourrightscamp after you donate so they can show you some love.”

Kaepernick last appeared in an NFL game in 2016.
