NASCAR veteran Mike Wallace will replace his brother, Kenny Wallace, in Robert Yates Racing's No. 88 Ford this weekend at Talladega, Ala.
An updated entry list for Sunday's UAW-Ford 500 released Tuesday morning lists Mike Wallace as the driver of the No. 88.
Kenny Wallace has been driving the car since the team's regular driver, Ricky Rudd, suffered a dislocated shoulder in an accident in the Sept. 2 race at Fontana, Calif. In four races Kenny Wallace's best finish was 23rd at Dover, Del.
Mike Wallace has had success on NASCAR's biggest tracks. He earned his Nextel Cup Series career-best finish of fourth this year in the season-opener at Daytona. One of his four career Busch Series wins came at Daytona in July 2004.
