Ripon Christian christens new stadium with 52-0 victory
The Ripon Christian High football opened its new stadium in emphatic fashion on Friday night, defeating Mountain House 52-0.
Seth Silveira rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries and Travis Zuiderbaart completed six passes for 104 yards and two TDs to spark the Knights’ victory.
Silveira opened the scoring on a 75-yard run.
Will Kamps’ 56-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown opened the scoring in the second half. Connor McGovern’s 82-yard TD run closed out the scoring.
This is the first year of varsity football for Mountain House High.
