Two teams played Friday with a chance to get back to section title games in consecutive years. Oakdale secured a spot in its second straight title game with a win against Vanden. Division IV
No. 2 Roseville 23, No. 3 Hughson 15: Hughson could not extend its season and reach its first Division IV section title game in recent history, falling on the road to the second seed in the division, Roseville. The Huskies trailed 16-7 at halftime and fell behind 23-7 by the end of the third quarter. A rushing touchdown and two point conversion in the fourth quarter cut into the lead, but a last second drive was not successful. The Huskies finish the season 9-3.
