Bee’s Best: Who should be the Stanislaus District football preseason POY?

Football season in the Sac-Joaquin Section is here. Teams went through preseason conditioning, learned new schemes and last week scrimmaged locally. Now, the real thing starts Friday night.

Teams across the Stanislaus District have circled Aug. 28, when they will suit up for their first taste of 2025 Friday night lights.

Before the season starts, we want to hear from you. Cast your vote for the area’s preseason player of the year. Players in this poll were selected based on stats from 2024 entered into MaxPreps. Many were featured in The Bee’s preseason Top 30 returners. Enter the word “yes” to vote in the poll. Voting ends Friday, Aug. 22, at noon.
