Pitman hasn’t had much of a season to remember, but that hasn’t stopped the Pride from doing their best in the final few weeks of the season.

The Pride bounced back from a six point loss to Gregori with a 43-28 win over Modesto High and their offense was led by running back and wide receiver Joey Stout.

What would normally be a career day for most looked to be the routine for the 5-foot-10 junior, as he has rushed for more than 200 yards in two of the Pride’s last three games.

Stout carried the ball 23 times for 214 yards and three touchdowns on Friday and impressed the fans who voted him The Bee’s Week 10 Player of the Week.

Stout received 63% of the more than 16,500 votes in our weekly poll.

He finished ahead of runner up, running back and linebacker Blake Westmoreland of Hilmar, who collected 30% of votes and third-place finisher, Orestimba running back and linebacker, Kai Brazil.
