Host Turlock wrestlers win Bulldog Classic

Four Turlock wrestlers won titles on Saturday to guide their team to victory in the Bulldog Classic.

Bulldogs’ Dustin Lema (106 pounds) Brady Egleston (126), Shawn Gonzalez (145) and Chance Holly (195) led the way for Turlock.

Turlock won with 209.5 points, edging out Monache (175), Lodi (133) and Waterford (109).

Among the Stanislaus District competitors to win individual titles were Waterford’s Ivan Gomez (113), Patterson’s Daniel Cota (138), Waterford’s Elijah Singleton (152), Summerville’s Humphrey Quirie (160), Hilmar’s Cody Renfro (170) and Waterford’s Troy Larios (220).
