Over the next seven days, several Stanislaus District athletes – from Oakdale shot put champion Hannah Chappell to Beyer basketball dynamo Georgie Dancer – will solidify their commitments to four-year universities across the country by signing national letters of intent. With the help of athletic directors and coaches, The Bee has begun to compile an honor roll of athletes celebrating Signing Day. If you have an athlete participating in the signing period, please contact sports reporter James Burns at jburns@modbee.com with the athlete’s name, sport and school of choice.
