Enochs’ Kent signs letter-of-intent to wrestle at Northern Illinois
McCoy Kent, a wrestler for Enochs High School, signed a letter-of-intent on Tuesday to compete for Northern Illinois University. He, along with mother, Chante, and dad, Jules, were all smiles at the signing. Said Kent, who finished third in the CIF State Meet last season: “It didn’t hit me until I sat down with my mom and dad and put my name on the paper. I’m grown up and I’ve got a big future ahead of me. It took a huge amount of pressure off me. I felt more relaxed. But, I still want to compete and win that state title.”
