See who Stanislaus District fans said is The Bee’s Girls Player of the Week

Ripon Christian’s Brynn Bohn came into the season wanting to be more of a vocal leader. But in the Knights’ biggest game this season, her playing did the talking.

The junior middle had good playoff moments during the Knights’ state championship run last season and returned this season as the only returning rotation player.

In the Division III section quarterfinals against Central Catholic, Bohn played a key part in Ripon Christian’s comeback five-set win. She led the charge offensively, tallying a career-high 18 kills on 22 attempts in the Knights’ 14-25, 24-26, 25-7, 25-12, 15-8 victory.

The fans noticed her performance, voting her The Bee’s Girls Player of the Week.

Bohn came in first, collecting 92% of the votes in the weekly poll. She finished ahead of volleyball players Adriana Dorn of Ripon and Danica Zamora of Pitman, who were second and third, respectively.
