The Sac-Joaquin Section on Friday released the volleyball playoff brackets for Divisions I through VI.

Pitman (28-6) and Ripon (26-2) each finished with perfect league records as the Pride went 11-0 in Central California Athletic League play and the Indians went 12-0 in the Trans-Valley League.

Ripon is chasing its second section title in three seasons. After winning in 2022, it fell in the championship match last season at Modesto Junior College. Ripon went on to the Northern California Regional Division III playoffs.

Four-time defending section champion and back-to-back state champion Ripon Christian (17-15) reloaded after losing most of its production from last year’s team to graduation. Despite new players in new roles, the Knights are back in the playoffs. They claimed the No. 3 spot in the TVL and are a No. 4 seed in Division III.

Downey (26-12) finished second in the CCAL, advancing to the playoffs for the first time since 2021. Turlock (14-8) and Enochs (10-7) also advanced to the postseason out of the CCAL. Big Valley Christian (25-8) enters the postseason looking for its third trip to a section final in four seasons. In 2021, the Lions won the Division VI title, in 2022, they fell in the semifinals, and last season, they reached the title game before falling to Bradshaw Christian. Each of the past three seasons, they advanced to the NorCal playoffs.
