Here is Stanislaus District fans’ pick for The Bee’s Girls Prep of the Week
Despite Pitman’s 5-6 record, senior infielder Rylee Reeves has been one of the Stanislaus District’s best hitters to start the season.
The UC Davis signee is in the top 5 among all Central California Athletic League hitters in batting average, slugging percentage and on base percentage.
She showed her offensive skill set in the Pride’s most recent league game against Enochs on March 28. Though the Pride lost 10-5, Reeves kept them in the game, recording two hits with a home run, driving in a pair of runs and scoring two runs of her own.
The fans noticed her performance, voting Reeves The Bee’s girls Player of the Week.
Reeves came in first, collecting 86% of the votes in the weekly poll. She finished ahead of softball players Lily Crow of Beyer and Isabela Giraldes of Ceres who were second and third, respectively.
