Here is Stanislaus District fans’ pick for The Bee’s Girls Prep of the Week

Sophie Stivers is one of Hilmar’s offensive catalysts this season with numbers in the top three on the team in each category midway through the year.

The junior was special in one of the Yellowjackets’ final non-league games against Buhach Colony, recording three hits, scoring three runs and driving in four RBI. She also hit her first career home run to lead the team to an 18-7 win.

The win was part of a dominant stretch of games for Hilmar where it scored more than 10 runs in four straight games, outscoring opponents 56-19.

The fans noticed Stivers’ performance, voting her The Bee’s Girls Player of the Week.

Stivers came in first, collecting 63% of the votes in the weekly poll. She finished ahead of softball players Lilliana Alcantar of Davis and Briseis Tollison of Downey who were second and third, respectively.
