Here is Stanislaus District fans’ pick as The Bee’s Girls Prep of the Week

The Beyer volleyball team went 3-0 during the second week of September winning a pair of Western Athletic Conference games over Lathrop and Mountain House and a non-league contest against Big Valley Christian. The Patriots, currently on an eight game win streak, are 11-1 overall and 6-0 in WAC play.

Senior Fallon Freeman had a great week for Beyer, finishing with 41 total kills and 68 total digs in the three wins. She led the team in both categories in all three games. Her best outing was against Mountain House, finishing with 14 kills and 30 digs in a four-set win.

The fans noticed her performance, voting her The Bee’s Girls Player of the Week.

Freeman finished first, earning 88% of the votes in the weekly poll. She came in ahead of Pitman volleyball player Mindy Wu and Patterson cross country runner Natalie Arriaza, who finished second and third, respectively.
